HikeWest’s 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 25th October. Expressions of interest (EOI) or nominations are invited now for the election of Board members at the AGM, for the following:
- President (Chair)
- Board Secretary
- other elected Director positions in the possible event of casual vacancies arising at or before the AGM.
HikeWest is recognised by the State government as the pre-eminent representative organisation for hiking in WA. We support the interests of hikers and bushwalkers, and deliver the popular WA Hiking Expo.
If you have the passion, commitment and skills to contribute to HikeWest’s mission of fostering bushwalking / hiking in WA and in promoting and actively working for the conservation and effective management of the natural environments in which we walk, contact the President now for details of these Board position opportunities.
HikeWest Directors are elected for an initial term of three (3) years. Apply today to work with fellow enthusiastic Board members and our Executive Officer to promote the fantastic benefits of hiking.
